Special Medical Conditions and Special Assistance
This tour involves a moderate amount of walking. Participants should be able to walk comfortably up to approximately 3-5 miles per day at a relaxed pace. Some walking may take place on uneven surfaces, including cobblestones, historic streets, inclines, or areas where sidewalks and curbs may not be fully adapted.
Most of the itinerary is wheelchair accessible, and we make every reasonable effort to accommodate guests with mobility needs. However, due to the historic nature of many sites, towns, and monuments visited, full accessibility cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Any medical condition, disability, or mobility limitation requiring special attention must be disclosed at the time of registration or booking. While we are happy to assist with advance requests such as wheelchair assistance at airports or accessible hotel rooms where available, we cannot guarantee availability and are not responsible for any denial of services by airlines, hotels, restaurants, transportation providers, or other independent suppliers.
Should a wheelchair be required for part of the journey, this must be requested at the time of booking, and we will do our best to arrange it. Please note that most transportation services, including touring vehicles, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts. Motorized scooters cannot be accommodated.
We regret that we are unable to provide individual or personal assistance to participants for walking, dining, boarding or disembarking vehicles, in-room assistance, or other personal needs. Guests requiring such assistance must travel with a qualified and physically able companion, who is responsible for providing that support throughout the trip.
Local accessibility standards may differ from those in the United States, and facilities for individuals with disabilities may be more limited in certain destinations or historic areas.
The tour operator is not responsible for any medical condition that occurs prior to, during, or after the tour. Airlines cannot always guarantee specific seating or assistance for passengers with disabilities.
Pregnant travelers, breastfeeding travelers, or those considering international travel during pregnancy are advised to carefully evaluate potential risks and the availability of medical care at the destination and during transit. Traveling with a companion is strongly recommended.
Itinerary Disclaimer
The itinerary should be considered as an indication, rather than a contract of places to be visited and though we try by all means to follow accordingly, occasionally local religious holidays, national bank days, weather, traffic conditions and/or other events may require eventual changes in the sequence of visits or the missing of certain visits.
Printing Disclaimer
True Pilgrimages is not responsible for typographical or print traveler errors including errors in the trip cost. We reserve the right to re-invoice or correct billing at any time.
