Join local Bruins and Stanford alumni for a relaxed coastal sunset hike at Strands Beach Park in Dana Point. With sweeping ocean views, beach boardwalk sections and natural coastal trails, this evening walk is a welcoming way to enjoy the outdoors, meet alumni from both communities and take in a classic Southern California sunset.
The route is designed to be social and approachable for all fitness levels, with a mix of terrain and plenty of opportunity for conversation along the way.
Whether you’re looking to reconnect, expand your alumni circle or simply spend an evening by the coast, we’d love to see you there.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. Light layers are recommended, as a coastal breeze is expected. Guests are welcome, and this event is free to attend. Cameras are optional for those who would like to capture the ocean views and sunset.
As we gather in a shared public space, please be mindful of other park and beach visitors. By attending, you acknowledge that photos may be taken and used in future OC Bruins or UCLA Alumni communications.
