South Bay Network: Pier to Pier Walk
Grab a coffee, lace up your walking shoes, and join the UCLA South Bay Network for one of our most popular traditions, the Pier to Pier Walk! We’ll stroll along the scenic Strand from the Hermosa Beach Pier to the Manhattan Beach Pier, then make our way back to Hermosa Beach. Along the way, connect with other Bruins, enjoy lively conversation, and soak in the iconic ocean views that make the South Bay so special.

All are welcome — bring friends, family, strollers, and pets! The walk is about 3 miles and typically takes roughly 2 hours (though it feels really fast!). After the walk, you’re welcome to join us for a casual brunch at a local spot (location TBD).
