Community Tennis Program Grants support organizations and providers who are bringing tennis to communities in myriad and impactful ways. Historically, these grants (formerly the CTA Partnership Grant) have only been awarded to NJTLs or CTAs. But, USTA Southern California has expanded grant candidates to include schools, youth organizations, Parks and Recreation Centers, and community providers.
Applicants must have a current USTA organizational membership, a broad base of community support, and an innovative program that is reaching a location or demographic whose needs are not currently being met by USTA SoCal. Any organization working with youth must be Safe Play Approved (including ALL staff, board members, and volunteers).

Community Tennis grants focus primarily on general program expenses, coach or tutor fees and equipment. They do not cover such things as travel expenses, administrative salaries(i.e. executive director, assistants, any salary positions), capital projects, scholarships (paying for a child to be in your program), or any other type of pass-through funding.
Community Tennis Grants vary widely depending on the scope of the program, but typical grants range from $2000 – $5000.
Deadline is August 1
