Each year we are trying to find the person who best represents the spirit and enthusiasm of tennis in the Southwest, a true tennis ambassador. Someone who through the force of their personality, spirit, dedication, effort, advocacy and love for tennis is clearly apparent and great for the growth of our game!
PURPOSE: To recognize our most spirited tennis lover who also contributes to the growth of the sport in the Southwest.

*This award at a Section level is NOT required nor is recommended to be given out annually. Keep in mind that those deserving of this award, extends beyond normal passion for, and effort to grow tennis in our area.

CRITERIA:
- Tennis advocacy in local community, potentially region, state and National
- Above and beyond representation of spirit and enthusiasm for the sport truly exemplifies that they do it for the love of the game
- Service to tennis takes on many forms and positively impacts the tennis experiences many in community have because of this person (volunteer roles, tennis event manager or recruiter bringing people into the game, social media influence, opens new pathways to the game)
