PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES CAREFULLY:

INFORMATIONAL BOOTH ONLY! ABSOLUTELY NO SELLING OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES or exhange of money in any way. Only if pre-approved in writing by UVFM, may you have a tip/donation jar, however No active solicitation of funds is allowed.

You are applying for a 10’ by 10’ space. Merchants must bring their own pop-up canopies, unbrella, tables, chairs, displays, signage, etc. and are responsible for all set-up and take down.
You are responsible for keeping your presence contained within your space, including customers visiting your booth, so as to not create congestion, block the walkways or obstruct other neighboring vendors.
No comepeting music or loud noise permitted. Neighbors need to be able to hear their customers, and we have a weekly musician nearby who's craft should be respected.
The Market operates from 9am - 1 pm. No vehicles may enter during this time.
Please arrive between 8 am and 8:30am. You may carefully enter at Cherry Street East (El Camino Real and Cherry Street). Drive slowly into the farmers’ market area, and a market manager will direct you to your booth location.
You will quickly unload into a neat pile, park your vehicle in a neighboring lot, and only then begin setting up. Same in revers for end of day pack up.
Please only one vehicle. If others are coming to help, please have them park outside the market area and walk in.
Your booth must be occupied the entire time. No walking the market with fliers or signature collections, etc. No barking, or cornering staff or visitors.
No other business is allowed to share your booth. You are paying to promote your business only!
No giving away of edible items due to the CA Department of Health's strict restrictions on processed food permitting and food transport. The only exceptions are small, wrapped candy and/or bottled water which may be given away.
No balloons nor face-painting, unless permission is pre-arranged.
Please take all your trash with you at the end of the day.
Drawings: If you are having a drawing for a prize(s), please do not call it a Raffle on your signage. It is a Drawing. The following MUST be on the entry blanks or on a sign by the entry blanks: “No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Winner need not be present to win. One entry per person. Not redeemable for cash.”
No pets, please. It puts us in violation of CA Health Code.
Please follow all UVFM on-site Manager directions, and mandated UVFM safety protocol.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

UVFM • San Carlos Farmers' Market

MERCHANT, {businessName}, shall indemnify and hold harmless UVFM, its officers, employees, agents and volunteers from and against all liability, loss, damage, expense, and cost (including, without limitation, reasonable legal counsel fees, expert fees and all other costs and fees of litigation) of every nature arising out of or in connection with MERCHANT’s negligence, recklessness, or willful misconduct in the performance of work or activities hereunder, or its failure to comply with any of its obligations contained in this Agreement, except such loss or damage caused by the active negligence or willful misconduct of UVFM. It is expressly understood and agreed that the foregoing provisions are intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of California and will survive termination of this Agreement. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to require MERCHANT to indemnify UVFM its officers, employees, agents and volunteers against any responsibility or liability in contravention of Section 2782 of the California Civil Code.
