5) ENTRY FEE
The entry fee is $50 for VAA members and $60 for non-members - for up to 4 entries.

Artwork may be created from any media, in both 2-D and 3-D with the exception of video works. Work must not have been previously included in a VAA exhibit. 2-D works must be suitably framed or edge-finished and may not be larger than 30" (including frame). 7) SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Titles and prices must be included on your entry form and cannot be changed after submission. Image filenames should be "Last Name, Entry #1, title.jpg", Last Name, Entry #2, title.jpg", etc. For example:
Jones, Entry #1, Starry Night.jpg
A diptych or triptych is considered a single work.
Notifications are done by email. Make sure emails from Exhibitions@VisualArtsAlliance.org do not go into your spam/junk box.
8) DELILVERY OF ACCEPTED WORKS
Hand deliver works to BLUEorange Gallery (1208 West Gray, Houston 77019) on Sunday, June 5 from 9-11am. Works not deliverd by 11am will not be included. All works must remain on view until the close of the exhibit - no exceptions. VAA reserves the right to reject any work that is misrepresented or unsuitably framed, wired, etc. Works requiring special hanging or installation must be done by the artist.
Out-of-town artists whose work is accepted will receive shipping instructions in their notification of acceptance. Shipped artowrks must be packaged for re-shipping (NO POPCORN) and must be accompanied by a pre-paid, return shipping label.
9) PICK-UP OF ACCEPTED WORKS
Artists must pick up their work on Sunday, July 3 from 10am - 12pm. Work not claimed at that time will become property of VAA. Volunteers will pack work which was shipped from out-of-town and return ship to the artist.
VAA does not require a commission on sales, however BLUEorange will handle sales and take a 30% commission.
This juried exhibition is open to all artists aged 18 and over.
EVERY PRECAUTION WILL BE TAKEN IN HANDLING ARTWORK, HOWEVER, NEITHER VAA OR BLUEORANGE GALLERY WILL ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT DURING THE EXHIBITION, OR AS A RESULT OF SHIPMENT. VAA reserves the right to photography work or use submitted images for publicity purposes. Entering this competition will constitute agreement with all conditions set forth within this prospectus. VAA is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization.
