As your dog is >5.5 years old, please be aware that he is not an ideal candidate for freezing semen. Reproductively speaking, he is 'aged' so it is more important to know that even if the semen looks good, after the rigors of freeze/thawing the fertility of frozen semen in these boys is less predictable.
