    Preface  Virginians For Health Freedom (Va4HF) is a non-profit, Virginia-based organization whose purpose is to promote the common good of unlicensed natural health practitioners in Virginia as well as the users and other advocates of natural health services through educational, legislative, and advocacy efforts to improve Virginia's health care laws and promote the rights of individuals affected by those laws. Virginians For Health Freedom is a membership organization and as such, undertake efforts to increase public awareness and understanding of natural health services available in Virginia through educational seminars, workshops, and other resources. To that end, the organization has adopted this code of ethics for all of its members. Individual acts that transgress from this code of ethics will not be condoned or tolerated. ​Va4HF holds your privacy in the utmost regard and will not divulge any of your personal information to outside sources.     ● Responsibility of Members ​(As a condition of continuing membership, each member strives to):  A. ​Treat all members with dignity and respect: not exerting undue pressure, nor seeking unfair advantage;  B. ​Hold to strict confidentiality: not improperly disclosing personal confidential information;  C​. Refrain from engaging in illegal or unethical actions that might bring disrepute to the Va4HF or their fellow members;  D. ​Uphold the values, ethics and mission of the organization;  E. ​Conduct all personal and professional activities with honesty, integrity, respect, fairness, and good faith in a manner that will reflect well on the profession and the organization;  F. ​Comply with all laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which the member is located or conducts any activities;  G. ​Refrain from using membership or association with Va4HF to promote or endorse external products or services;  H. ​Be truthful in all forms of professional and organizational communications and avoid information that is false, misleading inflammatory, deceptive, or information that would create unreasonable expectations.    ● ​Violations of the Code of Ethics  Any member of Virginians For Health Freedom who has reasonable grounds to believe that another member has violated this code of ethics has a responsibility to communicate, in writing, such facts to an officer or member of the Board of Directors of Va4HF.
