• Attendee Subsidies

    General Terms

    • Volunteering WA will contact successful recipients in writing following each round.
    • If the conference is cancelled or postponed due to extenuating circumstances, the applicant must liaise directly with the accommodation and/or travel suppliers they booked to organise credits/refunds according to the suppliers’ policies.
    • If a successful applicant is unable to attend the conference, Volunteering WA is not able to provide a regional attendee subsidy, and the applicant must liaise directly with the accommodation and/or travel suppliers to organise credits/refunds according to the suppliers’ policies.
    • Successful applicants are chosen based on the answers to the questions in this form.
    • Subsidised tickets are NOT transferrable.
    • If a successful applicant is unable to attend the conference, they must inform Volunteering WA in writing no later than 14 days prior to the conference, so we can award this subsidy to another candidate.

    Lotterywest Regional & Rural Attendee Subsidies

    • Applicants must live in regional or rural Western Australia.
    • Rural and regional attendees representing a not-for-profit organisation with an annual revenue of less than $1.5 million can also apply for a whole or partial subsidy of the conference registration.
    • The applicant agrees to pay for their travel and accommodation, and then provide receipts to Volunteering WA to reimburse the agreed amount following the conference.
    • Following the conference, the recipient must provide a testimonial sharing how the subsidy support allowed them to represent regional WA at this state-wide event.

    Youth Registration Subsidy

    • Applicants must be between 18 – 30 years of age in 2025 and live in WA.
    • The Youth Subsidy covers ticket registration only, and the applicant is responsible for covering all other costs associated with attending this conference, including transport, travel and accommodation.

  • Lotterywest Rural & Regional Subsidy Applications

    If you have not yet booked your travel and accommodation, please supply estimates for our internal budgeting. If you have booked your travel and accommodation please supply actual expenses and attach copies of your receipts.

    Please upload copies of the original receipts / invoices for expenses incurred in the box below, or download and submit a fuel reimbursement form.

  • Accommodation funding will cover reasonable accommodation rates incurred for 2-3 nights to attend the State Conference on Thursday 6 & Friday 7 November 2025. Volunteering WA has budgeted $650 total accommodation costs per regional delegate, however the amount we are able to reimburse following the event may be slightly lower or higher, dependent on the total amount of funding requested across all applicants. Book accommodation of your choice - examples provided below.

    • Pan Pacific Perth are offering a special 20% discount on room rates for delegates attending the State Conference, from $328 per night.
    • Perth Metro Hotel is approx. $180 per night; or $350 for 2-nights.
    • Mecure Perth ranges from $160 to $240 per night.
    • Reimbursements are not available for food or beverage expenses incurred.
