Accelerated Learn to Ride - Step 1: Registration

Please Note: For the smoothest registration experience, we strongly recommend completing all registration and participant forms on a desktop/laptop computer on a private IP (at home).
WELCA Registration: How it works!

New this year is a 3 step registration process...

1. Register up to 6 participants on the "Step 1: Registration Form" to select your spot in the program. Payment is required on this form.

2. Complete "Step 2: Participant Information" for every rider signed up in Step 1, at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the program. The link for Step 2 will be included in the registration confirmation emailed to you upon completing Step 1.

3. Step 3: Sign Waivers! Every rider will need a completed online waiver ahead of time. The link to the waivers will be sent to you at the end of Step 2. You can also find the link on our website under our FAQ tab.
Program Requirements
Participants must be over the age of 8 and be able to have two-way communication with the staff and be physically able to mount their horse from a mounting block, with possible assistance from staff.

Learn to Ride Programs

Accelerated Programs: Introductory and Beginner Combined (12 Classes)
Know that you are going to love horseback riding and want to get into the Horsemanship Program as soon as possible? You'll zip through the Introductory and Beginner Learn to Ride programs and be ready to start the Horsemanship Program come the spring. In the Accelerated program, you will get to stay in the same class time/day and have the same instructor and classmates for the full duration of your Learn to Ride. Over the course of 12 lessons you will have the chance to try 4 different horses!

Classes run for 12 weeks (riding once a week).

Cancellation Policy/Non-Refundable Deposit - Cancellation of a WELCA Learn to Ride Program can be obtained by emailing info@welca.ca account at least 14 days before the program start date, with refunds of the full amount minus the non-refundable deposit ($50) being refunded to the original card of purchase. Cancellations within the 14 days before the program start date are not guaranteed refunds, may be dependent on our ability to fill the cancelled spot, and may result in a credit or admission for a future program (this credit/admission may not equal the total value of the original price).*

Make-Up Lesson Policy - Due to the nature of the Learn to Ride program make-up lessons are not possible. Each lesson is taught only during it's specific week and if you miss lesson is not offered on another week. There is a small chance that someone else is absent in a class, and we can get you in on another day that same week, but this is not guaranteed. Please reach out to the office to see if it is possible at info@welca.ca.*
