What You Need

PLEASE NOTE: Checklist items you label as "Attached" must be uploaded at the end of this form.
Application for a building permit
A current copy of Title (and any associated documents such as Covenants, 173 agreements)*
A current copy of the Title Plan or Plan of Subdivision*
Planning permit and stamped, endoresed plans (if required)
Architectural plans (see inclusions below)
An application for a building permit must be accompanied by plans that address the requirements of Part 4, Division 2 of the Building Regulations 2018. Please ensure your plans include the following information (as a minimum):
- Scaled site plan showing:
  - site levels
  - the building/s being demolished
  - the street
  - a north point
  - buildings on adjoining properties
  - set back distances from the proposed work to other buildings and property boundaries
- Floor plan
- Photographs of each elevation of the building being demolished/removed
Structural engineering and certificate of compliance (if required)
Report and Consent approval for Demolition from Council (Section 29a)
Demolition procedure
Evidence that building practitioner engaged to carry out the demolition work is registered in that category/class
Letter of appointment of Building Surveyor*
Building Surveyor Agreement*
