Images Created at the Event:
If this is an Event/Workshop under Mentorship:
If this is an event/workshop under mentorship the flyer and information on the registration form will state that.
Models provided by WPPA have signed a model release with WPPA, not the individual photographer. The models are volunteering their time in return for images.
I understand that any images that I create during a workshop under mentorship can not be used in my portfolio. I can post images on social media referencing the tagline----- Created at a WPPA Share & Shoot. This protects you and us according to what the models have agreed to.
Also, images that you create on your own after the Shoot & Share using the WPPA provided models, without a mentor by your side controlling the lights or helping you pose can be used for image competition. DO NOT post any of those images you plan to use for that.
Also, you as attendees are not allowed to contact any of the WPPA models that are provided by WPPA yourselves to supply images.
The WPPA models have agreements that all images provided will be grouped with the makers getting credit and then provided to them by WPPA.
Any Image that are created using WPPA-provided models can not be published in any publication/advertising. The model release is for WPPA's use, not the individual photographer.
If this is a Day to Play/Create event:
If this is a play/create day - Get a model release signed by your subject. You may enter these in competitions or post on your Social Media platforms. You must abide by what your model has agreed to.
Images that I post on Social Media should also be either emailed to wppajamie@gmail.com. We will share those on our Social Media and Newsletters.
Process for submitting your images: Please rename the images using your name and date of eventWPPA and then a number starting with 1 and your name.
The images will be sent to the WPPA models, and the maker will be credited.
If anyone has any questions, please call or email wppajamie@gmail.com
