Notifiable Event
A Notifiable Event is defined in the Health and Safety at Work Act and there is a legal liability to report such events to WorkSafe NZ.
If you aren't sure if this is a notifiable please stop, save this form using the "save" button at the bottom of this page (click on the "Skip Create an Account link at the bottom of the save dialog" that appears and follow the prompts) and IMMEDIATELY go to the WorkSafe NZ website "Notify WorkSafe" tool. That tool will guide you through the notification process and determine whether the event is a notifiable injury, illness or incident.
