Farmers' Market School Tours Application
We welcome students from local schools to visit the Helen Albert Certified Farmers’ Market every Monday. Students can enjoy learning different aspects of the market, such as seasonal produce, healthy eating, sustainable living, growing practices (organic, conventional, locally grown), and the history of the Market.
Upon arriving to the Market, students will receive their very own reusable shopping bag. We ask students to separate into groups of 8 – 10 and encourage them visit each vendor. This experience will teach students the importance of incorporating fruits and vegetables in their diets, as well as get them excited to help their families cook in the kitchen.
School tours are available every Monday with a confirmed reservation. Once application is submitted, you will be contacted with a confirmation email. We only accept one school tour per day. Maximum class size: 50 students.
