Dear Media Team Applicant:
We're excited that you're considering applying to the 2020-21 Student Media Team! The Media Team (8-10 students) is a joint-venture with Student Engagement and Marketing Communications, both supporting various student groups within Student Engagement along with providing content for Wheaton College Marketing. The Media Team brings expertise in areas of photo and video for both website and social media use.
The position requires a weekly meeting, filming or photographing assigned events and projects, editing videos & photos, creating promotional event highlights, and marketing videos as well as creative projects. Members of the Media Team are expected to become an active and integral part of the student leader culture in Student Engagement along with acting as an effective ambassador to connect student perspective to the college’s marketing strategy.
We ask that you consider the following before you apply:
1.You are committed to the Media Team position for the full 2020-21 academic year, fulfilling responsibilities as described above.
2. As a student leader, you currently must have and thus maintain a 2.5 GPA.
3. Required attendance at HoneyRock leadership retreat (August 9-19, 2020)
4. Required time on campus for Orientation, work, and training before classes begin (August 17-25, 2020)
Due to the current state of the semester, we are extending the application deadline to April 6. Please submit your complete application by April 6 @ 5pm.
