WSR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does my membership include?
Free Range Admission for a 365-day annual membership during Regular Range Hours.
The Primary Member and Spouse may each bring 2 guests annually who will receive Free Range Admission. Following their 2 free guests, they may each bring 2 guests maximum per visit at $25 each admission fee. (Guests must have a Range Badge – the Orientation fees are NOT included – only the daily admission is free)
Do I need a Range Badge?
Yes. All adults on the range need to have a Range Badge and wear it prominently displayed. We recommend you keep your Membership Card tucked inside the Range Badge holder.
What is the purpose of the Range Badge?
The Range Badge shows the Range Safety Officer that you have been provided with an orientation on a particular section of the range (Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun), and that you have been observed to follow the range rules correctly and conduct yourself in a safe manner.
What if I do not have a Range Badge?
The first time you visit Wicen’s Shooting Range, each adult is issued a Range Badge. Every person (including children) must pay a $10 orientation fee for the first time use of each range section they intend to use. The 3 range sections are 1) Rifle, 2) Pistol, 3) Shotgun.
Must I sign a Waiver each time I come to the range?
Yes. You must continue to check-in at the Range Office before using the range with your government issued photo ID (Driver’s license / Passport). Your membership card will be checked for identification and expiration date. You will complete the Abbreviated Waiver Form (you only sign your name and date). There is an Extended Waiver that each Member will submit annually to be kept on file with their annual Membership Application. Guests will be required to complete the Extended Waiver each time they visit the range.
May I reserve shooting stations in advance?
No. Everyone gets a fair opportunity to use the shooting stations. Remember that people come and go frequently.
If I have a family membership, how many Membership Cards will be issued?
The Primary Member and the Spouse will be issued a membership card. The Primary Member name will be on the front of both cards, and Spouse/Children will be listed on the reverse.
When will my Membership Card be available?
Approximately 7 days after your completed application and payment are submitted, your Membership Card will be available for you to pick up in the range office during regular hours. If you complete the application and payment in the range office, you will be issued a Ticket that will be attached to your Range Badge as a Temporary Membership Card (trade this Ticket for your actual Membership Card when it is available).
May I collect the Membership Card for my spouse?
No. The spouse must show ID to retrieve the Membership Card. The Membership Cards will be kept on file in the range office.
What if I lose or forget my Membership Card?
There is a $10 replacement charge for the membership card and the free guest passes are revoked.
What if I choose to not purchase a Membership - may I still use the range?
Without a membership, you may use the range only if a Member brings you as a Guest or you are participating in a Class that is open to the public.
Does Membership include use of all ranges (rifle, shotgun and pistol)?
*Adult Memberships (age 21+) include use of all ranges (rifle, shotgun and pistol).
*Junior Membership (age 18, 19, 20) include use of the Rifle and Shotgun ranges.
