Join WiL UK for a relaxed 2.4-mile netwalk through the grounds and woodland trails of Belfast Castle on Saturday 28 March, starting at 10:00am. We’ll enjoy garden paths, gentle uphill sections and views over Belfast Lough, with time for informal networking along the way. After the walk, there’s an optional lunch at your own expense. 💷 Free to attend. Please Note: No booking or deposit is required while capacity remains at 10 attendees. If interest exceeds this, a pre-lunch deposit may be required to secure a group booking. Should this happen, we will contact attendees in advance with further details and payment instructions. By booking your place, you agree to be contacted if a pre-lunch deposit becomes necessary. Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing advised; walkers join at their own risk.
Lichfield Netwalk – West Midlands 📅 Saturday 18 April | ⏰ 10:30am start Join us for a relaxed netwalk in and around the beautiful city of Lichfield. The walk will cover approximately 10km / 6 miles, taking in historic buildings, woodland and cathedral views. A great opportunity to connect with others in the logistics community while enjoying some fresh air. ⚠️ The route may be muddy in places, so suitable outdoor footwear is recommended. We’ll finish the walk with an optional lunch from 1:00pm. Please confirm on the booking form whether you plan to stay for lunch, as numbers must be confirmed in advance. If your plans change, let us know at least one week before the event. Places are limited.
Join fellow logistics professionals for a relaxed outdoor netwalk in the Leicestershire countryside around Foxton Locks. This informal networking walk is open to women and men and offers a friendly, welcoming way to meet others in the sector. We’ll set off from the Top Car Park at around 11:00am for a 3–4 mile walk along the Grand Union Canal, taking in the historic locks and surrounding features linked to England’s transport and logistics heritage. The pace will be steady and sociable, with regular stops along the route. Lunch is planned at a local hostelry around 1:30pm. The route includes canal paths, cobbled bridges and steps, so please get in touch in advance if you’d like to discuss accessibility needs. Suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
Join Women in Logistics UK for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Marks & Spencer’s largest and most advanced distribution centre in Castle Donington. This rare site visit offers insight into large-scale retail logistics, combining automation, e-commerce fulfilment and store replenishment within one flagship operation. High-visibility vests and bump caps will be provided for the duration of the tour. Attendees must wear sensible, closed shoes (steel toe-capped footwear is not required).
