The Workhouse Arts Center is looking for a few volunteers for our events in August 2026. Your support will be crucial for tasks like guiding attendees, monitoring mini golf, wayfinding, setting up, tearing down, and supporting vendor booths.

Volunteers will be outside for the majority of the event with lots of standing and walking. Volunteers are required to be 16 years of age or must volunteer with a parent/guardian if 14/15.

Events are:

AUG. 8
2nd Saturday: The Dog Days of Summer is a fun twist on our monthly extended hours event. We will have artist/exhibition receptions across campus, pet themed interactives (including actual dog adoption event), and a special prison history related film screening.

AUG. 22
It's a Good Day Market is a free, community-focused, traveling market featuring local creatives and small businesses in the DMV. It is a market that aims to promote shopping small, supporting local businesses, and fostering community in the DMV!
