  • Position Summary

     

    The Women’s South Carolina Golf Association (WSCGA) is seeking a Part-Time Office Administrator & Social Media Manager to support the day-to-day administrative operations and communications of both the WSCGA and the Vicki Hillen Junior Golf Foundation.

    This role blends office administration, member and donor engagement, event coordination, and digital communications. The position will also be responsible for creating organic social media content and maintaining the organization’s online presence to help promote programs, tournaments, and fundraising initiatives.

    With flexible hours (10–20 per week), this position is ideal for an organized and motivated professional in nonprofit administration, communications, and social media.

    Key Responsibilities

    Office Administration

    • Serve as the first point of contact for members, donors, and partners via phone, email, and online inquiries.
    • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and recordkeeping.
    • Assist with reporting, membership tracking, and organizational documentation.

    Social Media & Communications

    • Manage and maintain WSCGA and Foundation social media accounts.
    • Create organic posts to promote tournaments, programs, member highlights, and fundraising initiatives.
    • Assist with website updates and ensure online information remains current.
    • Help develop visual and digital communications using tools such as Canva.

    Development Support

    • Assist with donor engagement, acknowledgments, and relationship management.
    • Research grant opportunities and assist with preparing proposals and reports.
    • Maintain accurate donor and sponsor databases.

    Event Support

    • Provide administrative and logistical support for tournaments and the Foundation’s annual fundraising event.
    • Assist with sponsor outreach, auction/raffle coordination, and event communications.
    • Provide on-site event support as needed.

    Position Details

    • Serve as the liaison between the WSCGA Executive Director and the Junior Golf Foundation, supporting joint initiatives and communication.
    • Assist with donor engagement, acknowledgments, and relationship management.
    • Research grant opportunities and help prepare proposals and reports.
    • Maintain accurate donor and sponsor databases.

    Event Support

    • Provide administrative and logistical support for tournaments and the Foundation’s annual fundraising event.
    • Assist with sponsor outreach, auction/raffle coordination, and event communications.
    • Support on-site execution of events as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
    • Interest in nonprofit development and fundraising.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Canva and donor database/CRM experience a plus. 
    • Social Media knowledge
    • Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling.
    • Professional, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
    • College Degree Preferred

    Position Details

    Part-Time: 10–20 hours/week with flexible scheduling.
    Work Environment:  Primarily in-person with occasional onsite event support.
    Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience.
