Thank you for applying for YTN's 2025-2026 Season crew! Please note that placement will be made based on the skills and technical needs of the show.

Tech crew members are required to come to all rehearsals for tech and for all performances.

Position Descriptions

Backstage Crew: In backstage crew positions, students will work under the Assistant Stage Manager and could do a variety of jobs helping with scene changes, quick costume changes, prop organization, etc.

Student Stage Manager: Student Stage Managers work under the Stage Manager, with the Assistant Stage Manager, to help run the backstage areas, assist with production paperwork, and run our post-show talk back with audiences.

Light and Sound Board Ops: Under the supervision of the Stage Manager and guidance of the Lighting Designer and Sound Designer, these crew positions run the light and sound boards for our productions. Which occasionally include special lighting effects and/or microphones.

Tech Rehearsals: Oct. 25 – Nov. 6
Sat. 1:00 – 5: 00 pm, Mon./Wed./Thurs. 4:30 – 7:30 pm and Tues. 4:30 – 6:30 pm
Performances: Nov. 7 – 23, Fri. at 7:00 pm, Sat. at 2:00 and 7:00 pm, and Sun. at 2:00 pm

School Show Performances*: Thurs. Nov. 13 and 20 at 10:00 am

*YTN will provide a note to your school to excuse you from morning classes.

It is the policy of Youth Theatre Northwest (YTN) to provide a safe and healthy environment for all students. Some of our activities involve group movement, stage sets and props. YTN takes measures to minimize potential hazards. However, these activities carry some unavoidable risk of injury or exposure to common communicable diseases.
