The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry invites all 7th Grade through High School Students to the 2026 ByzanTeen Fall Hike and Cookout.

When? September 12, 2026 (Saturday)

Where? Riverview Park and Byzantine Catholic Archeparchy of Pittsburgh Chancery, 66 Riverview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15214

Schedule:

1:00 pm Registration/Create your Name Tag

1:15 pm Welcome, Icebreakers and Introductory talk

1:30 pm Hike begins

3:30 pm Cookout and Games

6:30 pm Departure

If you are registering more than one teen, please fill out the form separately for each teen.

The registration fee is $15. Pay online at the end of the form.

Parents are more than welcome to join us, but they are not required to stay for the event. If you plan to attend, please indicate your participation on the same registration form. The registration fee is $15 per parent, and you can pay online at the end of the form. If you are registering more than one teen, please pay the parent registration fee only once.

I hereby give permission for my teen to participate in 2026 ByzanTEEN Fall Hike and Cookout on September 12, 2026. I fully release, discharge and waive any claims or right of actions which I have or might later have arising from any negligent acts or omissions of the (Arch)Eparchy, Byzantine Catholic Metropolia sui juris of Pittsburgh, any of its employees, agents and all affiliated individuals arising out of any activity associated with the 2026 ByzanTEEN Fall Hike and Cookout. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the (Arch)Eparchy, any of its employees, agents and all affiliated individuals for damage based on negligence of the (Arch)Eparchy, any of its employees, agents or all affiliated individuals arising out of any incident during the 2026 ByzanTEEN Fall Hike and Cookout. I attest that I have supplied the Office of youth and young adult ministry with any and all information necessary to insure proper supervision of my child's health and well-being. In case of apparent injury or illness, I wish my child to be sent to a reliable hospital and skilled medical attention be secured at once, for which I expect to pay the usual charges. I also wish that notification of any emergency be made immediately to me at the phone number I have listed. I wish the staff to treat my child as if he or she were their own. I also acknowledge that my child's early departure for medical, disciplinary or personal reasons is my sole responsibility.
