Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry invites teens to the ByzanTeen Splash Bash & More!

Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026

Schedule:

10:00 AM Registration at St. Nicholas Chapel (Pebble Beach Ct, Beaver, PA 15009)
10:15 AM Icebreakers, prayer, interactive talk, and activities
12:30 PM Lunch, swimming, and games at Seven Oaks (132 Lisbon Rd, Beaver, PA 15009)
4:30 PM Departure (parent pick-up) from Seven Oaks Pool

Fee: $25 per teen (includes lunch and all activities; pay online)

What to Bring: Beach towel, modest swimsuit (no bikinis or speedos), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, flip flops for the pool area, tennis shoes, sneakers for dry land games, water bottle.

Basic Pool Rules
1. Everyone must first register before entering the pool. Members must register their guests and are responsible for the payment of any appropriate charges.
2. Children twelve years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
3. Children unable to swim must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
4. Children must be potty-trained to use the pool.
5. Swimming is permitted only during designated hours.
6. Trash should be placed in the containers located throughout the pool area.
7. All food and beverages must be provided through Seven Oaks Country Club. Coolers will not be permitted.
8. Improper conduct and unnecessary noise should be avoided.
9. Animals, bicycles, and skateboards are restricted from the pool area.
10. Lifesaving and pool cleaning equipment should be used only for the purposes intended.
11. Running, pushing, dunking, and dangerous games are prohibited.
12. Diving is not permitted in the shallow end or baby pool.
13. The pool staff has the right to confiscate any toys being improperly used.
14. Please return seat cushions and all toys that are taken from the pool house.
15. The pool staff has full authority to enforce rules and regulations; multiple infractions will be reported to the General Manager

The teens will need to be transported by car from St. Nicholas Chapel to Seven Oaks for lunch and afternoon activities. By agreeing, you permit us to drive your teens in a car (3 minute drive).

All photography and videography are the property of and will be for Youth and Young Adult Ministry promotional use ONLY. By agreeing you give permission for pictures and videos of your teen(s) for this Youth Ministry promotional use.

I hereby give permission for my teen to participate in 2026 ByzanTeen Splash Bash & More! on August 8. I fully release, discharge and waive any claims or right of actions which I have or might have later have arising from any negligent acts or omissions of the (Arch)Eparchy, Byzantine Catholic Metropolia sui juris of Pittsburgh, any of its employees, agents and all affiliated individuals arising out of any activity associated with 2026 - A ByzanTeen Splash Bash & More. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the (Arch)Eparchy, any of its employees, agents and all affiliated individuals for damage based on negligence of the (Arch)Eparchy, any of its employees, agents or all affiliated individuals arising out of any incident during the 2026 A ByzanTeen Splash Bash & More. I attest that I have supplied the Office of youth and young adult ministry with any and all information necessary to insure proper supervision of my child's health and well-being. In case of apparent injury or illness, I wish my child to be sent to a reliable hospital and skilled medical attention be secured at once, for which I expect to pay the usual charges. I also wish that notification of any emergency be made immediately to me at the phone number I have listed. I wish the staff to treat my child as if he or she were their own. I also acknowledge that my child's early departure for medical, disciplinary or personal reasons is my sole responsibility.
