  • 2026 Jadin Wong Fellowship for Dance Application

    The Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) is pleased to announce the 2026 application cycle for the Jadin Wong Fellowship in Dance/Choreography.

    Applicants must:

    • Be of Asian heritage
    • Be 30 years of age or younger (your birthday must fall on or after May 2, 1995)
    • Be a resident of New York City & primarily based in NYC during the fellowship period (May - Dec 2026)
    • Not be enrolled in a degree-granting program in a field related to dance during the fellowship period; exceptions may be made for post-graduate students in a field unrelated to dance
    • Have at least two years of experience in presented dance

    Fellowship benefits:

    The grantee will receive a $10,000 unrestricted stipend, and an eight-month fellowship tailored to their artistic practice including mentorship from an established or mid-career dance professional, career coaching, and technical support to develop a new or existing work during the fellowship (completion of the work is not required, but progress is expected).

    Your chosen work sample should demonstrate your best performance work and will be evaluated by artistic quality, technical skill, and style.

    Please submit three recent (within the past 4 years) video work samples that demonstrate your best performance and choreographic work. Total duration of work samples should not exceed 15 minutes. Video links must be viewable without a password. Include time stamps to direct which portions of each work sample the panel should review.
