Part of the mission of the Alaina Coates FAAM Foundation is to invest our time and resources to uplift and support communities. One of the ways in which we accomplish this objective is through our annual scholarship program.
The Educator Enrichment Award is presented to an educator offering any level of instruction in the education system. The ideal applicant is one who can identify non-traditional, innovative techniques for enhancing student learning.
Award: One educator will be awarded $250.00 to assist with instructor related expenses.
Application Requirements:
- Application must be completed in its entirety and all accompanying documentation uploaded by 11:59pm EST on May 5, 2024. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Applicant must be employed as a full-time educator.
- A 300-500 word response or a 3-5 minute video addressing the following: Describe a non-traditional teaching technique(s) that might potentially enhance student learning and student engagement (for any age level). This can be an approach you have actually employed or an undeveloped idea.
Notification: Recipient will be notified on or before June 1, 2025.
