We welcome your application to participate in the 34th Annual Asian Culture Festival at Tropical Park on March 1st & 2nd, 2025, as part of our mission to celebrate and promote cultural and educational initiatives. Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee approval, as we reserve the right to accept or decline applications based on the nature of your organization and its alignment with our festival goals.
Participants will be provided a 10’ x 10’ space for showcasing their cultural or educational efforts. If you are bringing a tent, it must fit within the allocated space. Your participation must adhere to the following guidelines:
Participation Guidelines:
Non-Profit Status Verification:
- Your organization must be non-profit. We will verify your status with the IRS and confirm that the contact person is an authorized representative of your organization.
- Please provide your website address and at least one picture of your events or activities.
Full Participation Commitment:
- You must participate for both full days, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Your tent must be secured with proper weights and cannot be staked into the ground.
- You are responsible for bringing your own table, chairs, and display materials.
- Your tent must be decorated and staffed at all times and cannot be left empty.
- Personal items such as food, water, or other belongings must not obstruct the scenery for festival attendees.
- Bring paperweights to secure items at your table.
- Clean-up of your space after the event is mandatory.
Event Guidelines:
- No merchandise sales or monetary transactions are permitted. However, you may engage in membership sign-ups, collect donations or sponsorships, and promote upcoming events.
- Your organization must be culturally sensitive, inclusive, and aligned with the festival’s mission.
- To enhance the experience for attendees, we encourage participants to bring small giveaways or goodies to share.
Photo Waivers & Advertising Rules:
- By participating, you agree to adhere to all festival rules, including advertising and photo waivers.
Additional Details:
- Approved non-profit organizations will receive two complimentary tickets to the event.
- Once approved, your organization will be listed in our marketing materials and on our website to promote you alongside our other marketing efforts.
- If you desire to sell merchandise, you must complete and submit a vendor application, which is separate from the non-profit application.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage incurred during the festival.
