T.I.L.T. (Teen Interns Leading Together) Mission:
T.I.L.T. seeks to strengthen communities and the people in them by bridging the gap between public and non-public high school students of varying religions, races, and experiences. Public and private high school students take part in leadership training and team-building activities, utilizing the skills and relationships they acquire to originate and implement community service projects.
T.L.C. (Teen Learning Community) Overview:
T.L.C. partnered with TILT to create a peer mentoring program. Through this community service, Teaneck middle school students in public and non-public schools have the opportunity to receive free and individualized peer support from high school students in public and non-public schools in mathematics and language arts. High school students are partnered with middle school students to provide this mentorship.
