10:45am-11:15am Policy Prep: A focus on End-of-Life Options legislation

10:15am-11:15am Policy Prep: A focus on housing: sustainable funding and protection against income discrimination

Social Work Day at the Capitol 2024 - In-Person on February 29th
Check-In
NASW-MN staff and volunteers will be available starting at 9:00 AM. Visit us in the Capitol Vault, located in the basement of the Capitol.
Advocacy Refreshers
Join NASW-MN Legislative Consultant, Jenny Arneson, for a brief advocacy refresher. Repeating 20 minute sessions will begin at 9:00am, 9:30am, and 12:00pm.
Rally in the Rotunda
Unite in the Capitol Rotunda at 11:00am.
Take a Capitol Tour
Take a free guided tour and get an overview of the Capitol. Tours leave on the top of the hour starting at 9:00am. Tours depart from room 126.
Social Workers view the House Human Service Committee
1:00-2:30pm in room 200 in the State Office Building. Watch legislation in action.
End of Day Social
2:30-3:30pm. Head back to the Vault. Connect with other social workers and celebrate your advocacy!

All events are FREE for all students and social workers - registration is required to help us plan and ensure you receive all event links, CEUs, and other important information.
Registrants will receive access to all Zoom sessions on Feb. 26, 27 & 28th, important updates about Day at the Capitol, and lots of resources to help you prepare!
