    Welcome to the 2025 NASW-MN Social Work Advocacy Week & Day at the MN Capitol registration page!  This years' events include:


    Advocacy Week Info Sessions (free CEUs!) - On Zoom March 3rd & 4th

    Monday, 3/3/25 

    9:00am-10:00am Advocating in 2025

    10:15am-11:00am Housing

    11:15am-12:00pm Child Well-Being

    Tuesday, 3/4/25

    9:00am-10:00am Social Work Professional Priorities

    Social Work Day at the MN Capitol 2025 (free CEUS!) - In-Person on March 5th

    Check-In

    NASW-MN staff and volunteers will be available between 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM. Check-In as you walk into the Capitol in the Rotunda.

    Information, Networking, & Snacks

    NASW-MN staff and volunteers will be available between 9:00-3:30 in the Capitol Vault, located in the basement of the Capitol. This is an open space with seating available. NASW-MN will have snacks, and a cafeteria is around the corner. Take a break, eat, and discuss the results of our legislative visits. 

    Rally in the Rotunda

    Unite in the Capitol Rotunda at 11:00am. 

    Visit with your Legislator.

    Advocate directly with the people who represent you - it's the reason you are here! Set up your own appointment or join one of the many existing meeting times. See this document for appointment process and status. Register below.

    Watch Legislation in Action

    Between 1:00-2:30, check out one of the several committee hearings. Details will be available in your Virtual Resources Folder (all registrants will receive this).

    Take a Capitol Tour

    Take a free guided tour and get an overview of the Capitol. Tours leave on the top of the hour starting at 9:00am. Tours depart from room 126. 

     

    PLEASE NOTE: 

    All events are FREE for all students and social workers - registration is required to help us plan and ensure you receive all event links, CEUs, and other important information.

    Registrants will receive access to all Zoom sessions on March 3rd & 4th, important updates about Day at the MN Capitol, and lots of resources to help you prepare! A Virtual Resources Folder with all the information you need will be shared with you as we get closer to the event.
