About
Microincisional sclerotherapy is effective for cosmetic red or purple feathery, fine telangiectasias, as well as up to 3mm blue/green reticular veins. This CME-approved instructional course will teach the principles and techniques that the clinician will need for successful cosmetic sclerotherapy treatments.  Participants will receive a comprehensive course manual, pearls sheets and quick reference guides, a certificate of course completion, and 8.5 CME/CE credits.

All participants must register for the course and receive a written confirmation from Aesthetic Advancements in order to attend.  In states where scope of practice laws allow for an individual with less than an R.N. degree to administer injectable medical aesthetic products, this individual may attend the program along with their Medical Director (i.e. MD, DO, PA, and in some states NP or PA).  The Medical director will be required to pay a nominal auditing fee, and will be permitted to report for educational hours for the didactic portion of the program.  We do not allow "observers" to attend.  If you do not receive a written confirmation upon registration please email admin@aestheticadvancements.com. Confirmations can take up to 72 hours to be processed.

Course Instructions
- You will need to provide ONE Practice Patient/Model (model instructions provided upon confirmation)
- Diagnostic equipment will be provided for the course (Veinlight, hand-held doppler) 
- Bring injection supplies with you such as needles, saline, etc. (full list provided upon confirmation)
- If you wish to use additional sclerosants, you may order one of the following agents for the course:

Asclera ®	Polidocanol 0.05%, 2ml vials, 5 vial packs Can be ordered through Merz Aesthetics, Inc.
Storadecol®	1% Sotradecol, 2ml vials, 5 vial packs Can be ordered through Angiodynamics if you are a vein practice and BioNiche Pharma for non-vein practices
Glycerin	72% Glycerin compound with 2:1 Lidocaine and Epinepherine for sclerotherapy Can order from local compounding pharmacy

    - Please note we do not use hypertonic saline as an agent 

Acceptance, Payment, and Cancelation Information
Full payment or a $500 deposit is required in order to secure your spot in the course.  Full payment must be received by AAI no later than 14 days prior to scheduled course.  If you prefer to only pay a $500 deposit, then you cannot register online - please contact us directly for paper/fax registraiton.  If you have to cancel 14 days prior to the start date of your training, there is a non–refundable $150 administrative fee.  Cancelations less than 14 days or "no shows" will not qualify for a refund.  Online registration is subject to terms and availability and does not guarantee acceptance into the course.  Your registration is not finalized and accepted until you receive the official confirmation PDF document from our staff.  You will receive notification from AAI if the course is at capacity and will be placed on a waitlist.  For our full cancellation policy and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit http://www.aestheticadvancements.com/faq/.

Information for Out of State Participants: Aesthetic Advancements Institute, hereinafter referred to as AAI, welcomes the attendance of all licensed Clinicians at their instructional programs. AAI acknowledges that some Clinicians may choose to attend a program located outside their licensing state.  In some cases, you may be required to provide hosting state medical board approval for out of state licensee participation.  Failure of a Clinician to obtain the necessary approval and proof from the medial board of the hosting state will result in the immediate withdrawal by AAI of the Clinician’s application.  A full refund for any deposits received will be issued or applied to a future program being held in the Clinician's state of licensure.

I have agreed to participate in an interactive hands-on workshop session (the "Workshop") during the Sclerotherapy educational (CME/CE) program sponsored by Aesthetic Advancements Institute as part of my participation in the educational program.  I will practice facial injection techniques on a volunteer patient of subject (the "Volunteer") prescreened and selected by me, provided by me to be an appropriate candidate for treatment, using my own supplied US FDA approved injectable agents.

I have knowledge of the risks inherent in the subject facial injections and I hereby assume all responsibility of any kind which may arise in connection with my performance of facial injections, including any or all of my acts and omissions in connection therewith.  I hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the program sponsor, Aesthetic Advancements Institute and each of their respective affiliates, licensees, assignees and parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and the officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents of all such entities (all of the foregoing, collectively, the "Indemnities"), from and against any and all costs, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of any claim, complaint, challenge, proceeding or other action, whether by the Volunteer or otherwise, resulting from or arising out of my participation in the workshop and specifically those medical procedures identified below.  I further agree to waive any and all claims of any kind that may arise with respect to Aesthetic Advancements Institute in connection with my participation in the Workshop.

I hold a current license in the state listed below, and with this license I am legally able and plan to perform the following facial aesthetic injection procedures, and have provided evidence of such qualifications. Please note: All cancellations must be received in writing via email to coordinator@aestheticadvancements.com. 

A refund will be given, less a $150.00 administrative/processing fee if canceled 14 days prior to the start of the course. Any cancellation less than 14 days or "No Shows" will not qualify for a refund.  If we are within the 14 day period and we are able to find a "replacement participant", we will gladly switch your course fee to another applicable training date without penalty; however, if a replacement is not found the full amount of training will not be refunded.  Due to this policy, weather related cancellations are considered "No Shows" if the program is conducted.

As we do require a minimum number of registrants per each class, and if we do not meet this minimum (7-14 days prior to the training), or for any other reason beyond our control the course is canceled or postponed, the registration fee will be refunded in full.  Please note Aesthetic Advancements Institute is not responsible for deposits to hotels, fees associated with necessary airline changes or non-refundable airline tickets.

Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Some classes fill well in advance, so it is advised to register as soon as possible. We cannot reserve space in this program without receipt of registration packet and payment. You will receive written confirmation from our office when we receive your payment/registration.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 days, please contact us.  Your registration is not finalized until you receive a confirmation from our staff. Confirmations are generally sent via the email address you provide on your registration packet.  Due to the limited space available in this class, we are unable to accommodate unregistered participants the day of training.

We ask that each registrant check with his/her State Licensing Board and review the practice act pertinent to their scope of practice.  We do require you attach a copy of your valid state medical or nursing license with your registration packet.  Please direct any "scope of practice" questions to a member of your state board, as we will be unable to answer questions pertaining to individual state legalities.
