Overview: Inter Atlanta FC (IAFC) is proud to offer a financial aid program for soccer athletes who need financial assistance to play soccer with IAFC. This program is available to players in all programs: recreational, academy and select. The financial aid budget is limited. This application helps IAFC determine the financial eligibility of the applicant and so it is important to be as complete as possible. The deadline for turning in this application and all supporting documentation is May 1, 2020.
Documents and info you will need to complete application:
1. Proof of Income
A. Photocopy of your 2019 Federal Income Tax Return, pages 1 and 2
B. If you do not file a tax return, you will need to provide a W-2 and paycheck stubs for the past 30 days for all household members with income, and also provide contact information for your employer for income verification.
2. Amount of any other income the household receives, including but not limited to child support, alimony, student loans, grants, and other money.
Information about your application and award: Some soccer fees are not or may not be covered by IAFC and these include:
1. Georgia Soccer registration fee - $10 for Recreation, $30 for Academy or $35 for Select – not covered
2. Uniform and/or cleats - may not be covered if not included in the Financial Aid award
3. Tournament fees and travel costs – some may not be covered if not included in the Financial Aid award or if the team chooses to enter additional tournaments beyond those initially approved for your team by IAFC.
