Please read the following information about the project before you consent to participate.
This survey contains questions about your plans after graduation so we can best help you and other high school seniors prepare for life after high school. If you choose to participate:
How we will use your data. AIR will use your survey responses to determine if you are eligible to receive text messages, and we will also use the contact information provided to send text messages to selected students through a platform called Signal Vine.
Data we will share with your high school. We will not share the individual responses that you provide to us in this survey with your high school. We will share the overall percentage of students who selected each response in a report to your high school. We will also share whether you have taken the survey with your high school counselor. Accessing the survey and choosing not to participate counts as having taken the survey.
Data we will share with your college and receive from your college. AIR may share your identifying information such as your name, high school, and birth date with the college you tell us you plan to attend so that the college can help us direct the right reminders to you based on whether you have completed key enrollment tasks. The college may share your educational data back with us, including but not limited to whether you have applied or completed necessary forms to enroll, filed FAFSA and competed other steps to receive financial aid, attended or completed orientation tasks or events, requested that your final high school transcript be sent to your college, completed course placement testing if necessary, met with an advisor and registered for courses, paid tuition, enrolled and attended classes.
