2027 CLD Summit Scientific Abstract Submission
Deadline for abstract submission: 10am EST on Wednesday March 31, 2027.
Abstract format requirements: Arial 12pt font using the abstract submission form. There is a 250-word limit for the body of the abstract, not including the contributing authors and their affiliations. The form will require attestation that all authors have reviewed the abstract, selecting the career stage of the presenter, listing funding sources, and selecting the most relevant topic session and/or preference for flash talk session.
Notification: The Scientific Program Committee will notify applicants regarding presentation selections by April 30, 2027.

Session 2 – Looking Towards Therapies Description: Discovery of genetic modifiers, therapeutic targets and biomarkers, as well as platforms for identifying cell-specific delivery methods for cells of the liver.
Session 3 – Digging Deeper Description: New cholestatic liver disease experimental models and human ‘omic data in the areas of immunology and pathophysiology will be introduced.
Session 4 – Exploring Beyond the Liver Description: Focus on the impact of cholestasis on other body systems outside the liver. We will discuss intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy and its deleterious effects on both mother and fetus. In addition, we will delve into the mechanisms of cholestatic pruritus, which is a common symptom across diseases that has a major impact on quality of life.
Session 5 – Emerging Therapies Description: Therapeutic strategies currently in clinical trials or strategies attempted in humans will be evaluated and their applicable use in cholestatic liver disease versus needs for personalized therapies.
