Deets:
Where: Water Tower Park, 429 W. State Rd
When: Sunday September 27, 2026 at 2 pm, line up 1:50 pm
What: We will have a track set at 30 yards long, Dogs will race in heats of 3, the winner will advance to the semi finals, and then we will hold the Final race for the top 3 dogs to race for the Podium finish.
Awards: Every participating Dachshund will receive an award for participating, Heat winners will receive a riboon and advance to the next race. The top 3 finishing dachsunds will recevie a trophy and prize money along with ribbons. and go home with bragging rights.
Rules:
1. Purebred Dashchunds only.
2. All dogs must be leashed unless they are in a race lane.
3. Two handlers are requires, a catcher and releaser.
4. ONLY Dogs on the track, you may not run with your dog.
5. You MAY NOT throw balls or toys during the race.
6. Race judge has the final call on the race winner, if the race is too close to call, a race off maybe required.
7. Costumes are Highly Encouraged, and the best dressed Doxie will be awarded
