  • 4. Certification & Signature

    I certify that the information provided in this application is true and accurate. I understand that providing false information may result in the denial or termination of the player's scholarship. To qualify for a scholarship, the following conditions must be met:

    • The household must meet income eligibility requirements as outlined in this application.
    • All required documentation must be submitted for review.
    • The player must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA to retain eligibility.

    Income Changes

    Any changes in household income must be reported to the Aliens Love Humans Foundation (ALHF) within 30 days. Failure to adhere to income guidelines may jeopardize a player's ability to receive a full or partial scholarship.

    Scholarship Awards & Additional Support

    Full scholarships are awarded on a per-season basis and will expire at the conclusion of the team's season.

    Players whose full sponsorship lapses or is denied will be automatically enrolled in the ALHF Academic Scholarship Program and receive a partial sponsorship paid directly to the youth sports program, provided they:

    Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA Meet all ALHF academic requirements Players receiving full scholarships may also be eligible for travel, jersey stipends, and other stipends on a per-tournament basis. Requests for additional financial assistance should be made through the program director or coach.

    Marketing, Likeness, & Recording Agreement

  • By enrolling in an ALHF-approved sports program, players and parents/guardians grant permission for the child's image, likeness, and recordings to be used for promotional, sponsorship, and advertising purposes. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Website & Social Media - ALHF's official pages and sponsor platforms
    • Sponsorship & Marketing Materials - Flyers, advertisements, and fundraising campaigns
    • Media & Publicity - Television, news articles, and other media outlets

    These promotional materials help secure sponsorships, grants, and donations, which are vital to the sustainability and expansion of the program. Parents/guardians acknowledge that no compensation will be provided for the use of these materials.

    Aliens Love Humans Foundation (ALHF) Data Privacy Policy

    1. Purpose

    The Aliens Love Humans Foundation (ALHF) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all sensitive information shared between Alien Hoops and any other youth sports program regarding scholarship applicants and recipients. This policy outlines how sensitive information will be handled, stored, and shared, as well as the authorization required for communication between ALHF and a player's sports organization.

    2. Collection & Use of Sensitive Information

    ALHF may collect and process personal and sensitive information necessary to evaluate and administer scholarships, financial assistance, and program eligibility. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Player Information: Name, date of birth, academic records (GPA), financial status, and eligibility verification documents.
    • Parent/Guardian Information: Contact details, household income verification, and consent for scholarship administration.
    • Sports Organization Information: Team affiliation, coach/program director contact details, and participation records.

    This information is used solely for the purpose of evaluating scholarship eligibility, processing awards, and ensuring compliance with program requirements.

    3. Confidentiality & Secure Communication

    ALHF will take reasonable measures to safeguard all sensitive information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

    This includes:

    • Secure storage of electronic and paper records.
    • Limited access to authorized personnel only.
    • Encrypted communication methods when handling confidential data.
  • 4. Authorization to Share Information with Sports Organizations

    By applying for an ALHF scholarship, parents/guardians grant explicit authorization for ALHF to communicate directly with the player's sports organization (e.g., Alien Hoops or any approved youth sports program) regarding:

    • Scholarship eligibility and status
    • Academic performance verification (if applicable)
    • Compliance with financial aid requirements
    • Team participation and engagement

    This authorization ensures that ALHF can collaborate with the player's coach, program director, or designated representative to effectively manage scholarship awards and program benefits.

    5. Limits on Disclosure

    ALHF will not share sensitive information with third parties beyond the player's approved sports organization, except:

    • When required by law or legal processes
    • With explicit written consent from the parent/guardian
    • For internal auditing, reporting, or compliance with grant/funding obligations

    6. Revoking Authorization

    Parents/guardians may revoke authorization for ALHF to communicate with a sports organization at any time by submitting a written request to alienslovehumans@outlook.com However, doing so may impact the player's ability to receive continued scholarship assistance.
