2019 ACDT Application

We are accepting applications for this unique, three-part training course, which provides drainage designers, contractors, farmers, farm managers, retailers, drainage commissioners, and conservation practitioners with knowledge and tools to make conservation drainage a strandard part of tile installation and farm management.

Our Summer 2019 trainings will focus on the saturated buffer, constructed wetland, and drainage water management practices. Training sessions will include:

Expert-led presentations on science behind each practice
Small group application exercises and hands-on field experiences
Overviews of conservation practice standards
In field demonstrations, site visits, and testimonials from real landowners
Discussions aof the barriers and opportunities to edge-of-field practice adoption
Practical tips for communicating with landowners about conservation drainage
Disscussions on economics and cost-share programs.

CEUs will be available for each training session.

Spaces in training workshops are limited.

The three workshops are progressive, and we expect trainees to prioritize their workloads to be able to attend all three.
