Valet Tagger Contract Labor Agreement:
The Valet Tagger will perform the following duties for the 2025 Sale Season.
1. Valet Tagger does not have a minimum to tag for.
2. Valet Tagger agrees to work to complete each Seller as they are dropped off, assigned Consignor will be held until previous assignments are completed.
3. Valet Tagger agrees to contact Seller within 24 hours of assignment to arrange for drop-off of items. Items must be dropped off within two weeks or Seller will be removed from the program.
4. Valet Tagger confirms item count, prep, proper storage.
5. Valet Tagger purchases needed supplies for tagging, storing and delivering items to sale. A $20 tagging fee per 200 items is to be collected when items are dropped off unless Valet paid JBF Denton in advance. If they paid JBF in advance, JBF Denton will pay the Tagger. Cash, Paypal or Venmo to tagger is acceptable for payment to Tagger.
6. Valet Tagger inspects items to ensure they meet JBF Guidelines and keeps count of pulled items per Seller.
7. Valet Tagger tags and stores the items until the sale.
8. Valet Tagger drops off items puts the items out on the sales floor. Any additional storage, help needed unloading or placing items on sales floor is at the expense/responsibility of the Tagger. Often Taggers bring a second set of hands to help. JBF will not be able to provide staff to assist in the process.
9. No additional sale percentage, wage or credit is paid to Valet Taggers. Temporary hourly employment is available during sale week, you may reach out to Amber for more information.
10. The Valet Tagger is responsible for tracking all fees as described below and submitting on the Valet Completion Form.
11. Valet Tagger will track the amount of items that are rejected and will be reimbursed .50 per item over 5 items with funds deducted from the Consignor check
12. Valet Seller will deliver items in boxes/bins that the Valet Tagger will not store or return. If items are received in trash bags a $3 bag fee will be deducted from the Consignor check and paid to the Tagger.
13. Valet Tagger will be paid 20% of individual sales for each Valet Consignor that they tag for.
14. Valet Taggers work as Independent Contractors and get paid one week after the sale and will be asked to complete a contract prior to being paired with a Valet Seller. This is a separate check from the Consignor check if you choose to sell this season.
16. Valet Taggers are Independent Contractors and must complete a W2, if income exceeds $600 in a calendar year they will receive a 1099.
