This form will allow you to apply for funds through AMICAL's Small Grants program.
For training requests: given the current circumstances, we expect that any proposed training will be online unless there are exceptional circumstances requiring or allowing for in-person training.

Read the review criteria for the category of grant you’re applying for. You will be asked below to provide descriptive information about your proposed activity, noting how they fulfill these criteria. Your application will be evaluated by comparing your responses to the review criteria. For your convenience, the review criteria are incorporated for your convenience below.
We have also listed some common problems often seen in Small Grant applications. Being aware of these may help you prepare a stronger application.
Instructions for submitting the application:
should draft and save their responses elsewhere (e.g. in a word processor) before copying them to the form.
should share the title, budget and responses to the Overview and Timeline questions with their institution’s AMICAL representative before submitting the form to ensure that the representative will endorse it.
should fill in the application form and submit it.
The AMICAL representative
will receive a copy of the submitted form. They must forward this to
with a brief statement that they endorse it, meaning that they believe it responds adequately to the review criteria.
The application must be submitted by midnight of the current cycle’s deadline. The representative’s endorsement must be sent by midnight on the day after the deadline.
