Practicing the Presence of God with Rev. Canon Lisa Senuta, May 29-31, 2026, at Savior Pastoral & Retreat Center

The Contemplative Ministries Commission of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church invites you to join us for a two-night communal guided silent retreat focused on the teachings of Brother Lawrence.

Expect to feel yourself part of a community and not alone, expect to be thoughtfully guided into the silence, so if it is your first silent retreat, you will feel comfortable and capable. Each day will be punctuated with regular times for communal prayer, teachings from Brother Lawrence, personal reflection, Spiritual Direction, and spaciousness for deep relaxation with God. The hope is that you will walk away with a deepening commitment to practice the presence of God amid your daily life.

Accommodations and Costs

$250/per person, single accommodation; $210/per person, double accommodation, includes meals. The rooms are very simple, featuring twin beds and private bathrooms. We will be staying in the Strecker Suites. Click here for more information.

Schedule

The retreat will start at 5 pm on Friday, May 29 (registration from 3-5 pm) and end at 12 noon on Sunday, May 31. We ask that attendees plan to attend for the entire weekend. Additional information will be provided in advance of the retreat.
