ARB President's Volunteer Service Award Submissions

Hours must be accumulated between June 16, 2023 and June 15, 2024. The deadline to submit your service hours is June 15, 2024. Submissions will be accepted June 1-15, 2024 only using this form. All awards will be presented at the American Royal Beauties National Event. Please refer to www.arbpageants.com/pvsa for complete details.

 

Please ensure your service log uses correct grammar, capitalization and mechanics. Also ensure your descriptions adequately describe the tasks you are including in your hours.

Gold Award
Kids (5-10): 75+ hours
Teens (11-15): 100+ hours
Young Adults (16-25): 250+ hours
Adults (>26): 500+ hours

Silver Award
Kids (5-10): 50-74 hours
Teens (11-15): 75-99 hours
Young Adults (16-25): 175-249 hours
Adults (>26): 250-499 hours

Bronze Award
Kids (5-10): 26-49 hours
Teens (11-15): 50-74 hours
Young Adults (16-25): 100-174 hours
Adults (>26): 100-249 hours

Lifetime Award
All ages: 4,000+ hours

***You must meet the age parameters for the award by June 15, 2024. For instance, if you turn 16 on or before June 15, you would have to complete the hours for Young Adults.

Step 1: You must use this Google Sheet template to track your service. You must be logged into your Google account before clicking this link. Once you have completely filled out the Google Sheet, you can download it by clicking File > Download > Microsoft .xlsx within Google Sheets.

Step 2: All Volunteer Service Certification forms should be provided in a ZIP folder below.

Step-by-step instructionsfor how to zip a folder containing multiple PDF files for submission:

1. Make sure you have all the PDF files you want to include in a single folder on your computer. If the PDFs are scattered in different locations, create a new folder and move/copy all the PDF files into it.
2. Right-click on the folder containing the PDF files. A context menu will appear.
3. On Windows computers, in the context menu, hover over the "Send to" option, and then click on "Compressed (zipped) folder." On Mac computers, in the context menu, hover over the "Compress" option and click on it. This will create a new compressed folder with a .zip extension.
4. Wait for the compression process to complete. This may take a few seconds or minutes, depending on the size of the PDF files and the processing power of your computer.
5. Once the compression is finished, you will see a new ZIP file in the same location as the original folder. The ZIP file will have the same name as the folder but with a .zip extension.
6. Optional step to ensure the folder was compressed properly: Double-click on the ZIP file to ensure that it opens correctly. This step is optional but recommended to verify that all the PDF files are successfully included in the ZIP file.
7. Now, you can use the ZIP file for submission. You can upload the ZIP file here.

Note: If you're using a different operating system or prefer alternative methods, the general concept of zipping files remains the same. You can search the internet for how to compress a folder for your specific operating system.
