There are two programs offered, Mondays through Fridays when school is open:

• Before School Program (BSP): Opens at 7:00 am, includes breakfast, quiet activities and/or homework support, time permitting. BSP does not run on delayed openings. Please note, arrival begins at 8:15 am, so the closer you arrive to that time, the more difficult it will be to get around the car line.
  
  
• After School Program (ASP): End of school day until 5:00 pm, includes activity stations and homework support. Please note, snack is not provided, but there will be time allotted for students to eat their own snack from home. Families are encouraged to send in an extra snack. ASP does not run on Early Dismissal Days.

There are enrollment caps by grade level to ensure proper teacher to student ratios. Please sign up for the wait list if the grade level you need is full. Students on the wrong grade list will be removed.

There is no nurse on staff for these programs. AAECS Staff will follow general safety protocol for emergencies. Please note that in the event of an emergency, all emergency contacts on file with the school will be utilized.

Students demonstrating unsafe or disruptive behavior may not be permitted to continue in the program. Students who do not attend as scheduled over an extended period of time may also be removed so those on the wait list can join.

Before School Program Arrival:

Students must be signed in at the office by their parent/guardian on their first day.

After the first day, families may pull up to the front door and watch their students enter through the main entrance. Once the child has entered the building, the parent may leave.

Students may NOT be dropped off before 7:00 AM. This includes students who walk alone.

After School Program Dismissal:

All families will be expected to use the School Dismissal Manager (SDM) app for After-School Program dismissals.

NEW THIS YEAR:
Parents must park in a parking spot, check in on SDM and walk up to the main entrance porch for pick-up. Students will be brought to the front entrance by a staff person. Parents who walk up must still use the SDM app.

Emergency contact information must be made available for all students in the After-School Program. Students must be picked up by 5:00 pm. Repeated lateness will result in removal from the program.
