The Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated will sponsor its first annual Debutante Program and Cotillion. The goal of the program is to promote and strengthen the educational and social development of young ladies while providing them with societal preparedness through workshops and community involvement.
The Program also strives to cultivate scholarship, achievement, self-confidence, grace, and good citizenship. Young ladies, who are seniors in high school and have demonstrated exemplary moral standards and scholastic achievement are given the opportunity to participate in various sponsored workshops and awareness sessions, while expanding their cultural and social horizons.
Additionally, the participants are introduced to the many facets of their respective communities and provided exposure and a foundation that will assist them to become productive citizens. Completion of the Debutante Program will culminate to the Cotillion where they will be formally presented to their respective communities and society at large.
A Debutante Program and Cotillion Information Session for interested young ladies their parent(s) or guardian(s) will be conducted at the following location and time:
