Terms & Conditions
Some of these terms and conditions set below are to draw your attention to the fact that our obligations to you are limited. Once the trip begins, we will do everything possible to ensure your enjoyment and we look forward to a successful partnership together.
Due to limited class size, this workshop is not transferable or non-refundable after the deposit deadline (please see cancelations and refunds below). Space is limited and reservations are accepted in order of receipt of your registration which acknowledges that you have read these terms, and our notification to you of your enrollment.
You are responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake the trip; for obtaining the appropriate medical and cancellation insurance; for studying all the pre-departure information provided you, and for acting in a manner considerate of fellow travelers and the countries visited.
Any form of travel contains inherent risks and medical facilities and services may not be easily accessible and may not be sophisticated. There are also other risks associated with the trip, such as theft or loss of or damage to property. Some of the services provided in connection with the trip, including lodging, transportation, food service and local tours and activities, are obtained from independent suppliers over whom the organizer has no control. These services provided by independent suppliers or any unrelated third parties are subject to the laws of the place where the services are provided. The liability of the independent suppliers may be limited by their tariffs, conditions of carriage, tickets and vouchers, and international conventions and agreements.
Travelers further agree that they will indemnify and hold organizer harmless in respect of any claims arising in connection with the trip made by third parties that arise from the misconduct of the travelers, the traveler’s family members, dependents or heirs, third parties, which the traveler, their estate, their family members, dependents or heirs have sued.
The organizer reserves the right to decline accepting or retaining any traveler whose health or actions in organizer's sole judgment impedes the operation of a trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow traveler.
You are responsible for having your passport up to date. Most countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond the conclusion of your trip. It is also recommended that you have a minimum of three blank pages. Please note that an enhanced driver's license is not a substitution for a passport.
If there are any visas or entry documents required for your trip, you are responsible for meeting all the health and other requirements necessary for those documents. Art Leap Adventures is not responsible for providing you with specific visa and passport information or documentation or any fees associated with these documents.
Please note that it can take up to three months or more to obtain a new passport and/or visa.
Only one type of discount may be used per person.
Waiver - Limitation of Liability
Limitation of Liability
*To the fullest extent permitted by law:
•any liability for any loss, death, injury or damage which you may suffer (directly or indirectly) in connection with or arising out of your participation in the workshop event, or any breach of the Booking Condition, is excluded;
•you release us and our representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in the workshop, and
•any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied by law into these booking conditions (implied Warranty), is excluded.
If we cancel a trip we reserve the right to alter the itinerary or accommodations as conditions warrant. If a trip itinerary must be changed due to weather, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness or other contingency for which we cannot make provision, the cost of delays or changes is not included. We reserve the right to cancel an itinerary before departure for any reason including too few participants or logistical problems such as strikes, military actions, acts of nature or any other circumstances which may make operation of the trip inadvisable.
Refund: Cancellations by participant must be made and confirmed via email by the deposit deadline. If particpant cancels before the registration deadline the deposit minus a $50 cancelation fee will be refunded. Cancellation after the deposit deadline will result in forfeiture of the full deposit. The funds cannot be transfered to a different year.
*In Case of Emergency
In the event of illness or accident, you understand that we will make every effort to contact the person listed under Emergency Contact, but you give your permission for emergency medical treatment as required if such notification is impossible or impractical under the circumstances. You understand that we will make every effort to minimize the risks inherent, but that we cannot guarantee against circumstances over which it has little or no control.
The participant herby provides his/her express consent and authorization, at its sole discretion, for its advertising, promotion and marketing purposes, any photographs taken of the participant during his/her participation in the activities.
You agree that upon advancement of deposit and completed registration form to us that you will be bound to the terms and conditions recited on the registration page. You understand that if you should not be able to complete the course for any reason, that we are not obliged to make any refunds for any unused services, and that trip cancellation insurance is strongly advised.
You must sign and submit this waiver acknowledging that you have read and agreed to the conditions set forth in this waiver as part of your registration and you will not be considered registered until this is completed.
We reserve the right to amend these policies at our discretion. If an amendment occurs between your booking and your printmaking course, we will notify you of changes via email.
