Join us for a historic celebration! The America 250 - Ashtabula County’s Anniversary Parade commemorates both our community and America’s 250th Birthday — the Semiquincentennial. The parade will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Line-up begins at Jefferson Area High School. ALL FLOATS/UNITS MUST USE MULBERRY STREET! Please enter and check in at the intersection of Mulberry & Poplar. ALL FLOAT RIDERS or WALKERS must use the Poplar Street entrance and park at the Jefferson Board of Education Building (or other designated area to be determined closer to parade date), then walk to your unit. For safety reasons, we are NOT allowing vehicles to drive down Falcon Way unless they are part of the parade. Equestrian units will park and unload at Jefferson Elementary School. Parade Marshalls in fluorescent vests with radios will be posted at the entrances. Please have your unit number ready. Your contact person will be notified with your unit number and approximate check-in time on or before May 1, 2026.

Liability Waiver

The undersigned wishes to participate in the America 250 - Ashtabula County Grand Parade of History to be held July 4, 2026. The undersigned acknowledges that it has been informed by the America 250 – Ashtabula County that is should be insured against any and all risks involved with participation in said parade, and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless America 250 - Ashtabula County Committee, Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival, Inc., the Village of Jefferson, the 4th of July 2026 Festival Subcommittee, and their respective officers, volunteers, all committee members, agents, successors, and assigns, from and against any and all claims and lawsuits, as a result of being in the parade. The undersigned also agrees to waive any and all claims or right of action whatsoever, it may have against America 250 - Ashtabula County Committee, Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival, Inc., the Village of Jefferson, the 4th of July 2026 Festival Subcommittee, and their respective officers, volunteers, all committee members, agents, successors, and assigns for any damages incurred as a result of its involvement in said parade or event.
