At ASHWHAIR, every service is approached with intention, professional care, and respect for the health and integrity of your hair and scalp.
Please review the following agreement before receiving services. Your acknowledgment helps establish clear expectations, informed consent, and a safe, transparent experience.
01 | General Service Consent
I voluntarily consent to receiving professional hair and scalp services from ASHWHAIR, which may include haircuts, coloring, lightening, glossing, chemical treatments, hair extensions, botanical scalp treatments, styling and related services.
I understand that results vary depending on hair history, condition, texture, previous chemical processing, home maintenance, and other individual factors.
I acknowledge that specific results cannot be guaranteed and that my stylist may recommend modifying, postponing, or declining a service if it may compromise the integrity of my hair or scalp.
I understand and consent.
02 | Chemical Services + Hair Integrity
I understand that chemical services, including permanent color, lightening, toning, glossing, and other chemical processes, carry inherent risks.
These may include:
Hair dryness, breakage, or compromised elasticity
Scalp irritation, sensitivity, or allergic reactions
Uneven color absorption or unexpected tonal results
Color fading, shifting, or changes over time
The need for multiple appointments to achieve a desired result
I understand that previous chemical treatments, including professional color, box dye, henna, metallic dyes, relaxers, and other treatments, may affect the outcome.
I agree to disclose my complete hair history, known allergies, sensitivities, and previous adverse reactions.
I understand that strand or patch testing may be recommended or required and that such testing cannot eliminate every risk.
I acknowledge that maintaining the health of my hair may require adjusting my desired result or completing the transformation over multiple sessions.

03 | Hair Extensions + Maintenance
I understand that professional hair extensions require appropriate installation, maintenance, removal, and at-home care.
Potential risks include tangling, matting, shedding, tension, discomfort, hair breakage, or damage, particularly when maintenance instructions are not followed.
I acknowledge that:
Maintenance appointments must be scheduled according to the recommended timeline.
Proper brushing, cleansing, drying, and home care are essential.
Extension longevity varies depending on method, lifestyle, hair condition, and maintenance.
Improper removal, excessive tension, or delayed maintenance may compromise natural hair.
Additional hair, replacement pieces, or corrective work may incur additional charges.
I agree to notify my stylist promptly if I experience persistent pain, irritation, excessive tension, or unexpected shedding.
I understand and consent.
04 | Botanical Scalp Spa + Treatments
I understand that botanical scalp treatments may include cleansing, exfoliation, massage, warm towels, aromatherapy, scalp products, and other cosmetic wellness techniques.
I acknowledge that botanical and naturally derived ingredients may still cause irritation or allergic reactions.
I agree to disclose known sensitivities, allergies, active scalp conditions, broken skin, recent procedures, or other concerns that may affect my treatment.
I understand that scalp spa services are cosmetic wellness services and are not intended to diagnose, cure, or medically treat scalp disorders or hair loss.
I understand that my treatment may be modified or declined if a safety concern is identified.

05 | Results + Expectations
I understand that inspiration photographs serve as visual references and do not guarantee identical results.
Hair density, texture, porosity, natural pigment, previous processing, and maintenance habits can influence the final outcome.
I understand that achieving certain colors, cuts, or extension results may require multiple appointments and additional services at separate costs.
I agree to communicate my goals, concerns, and expectations during my consultation.
I understand and consent.
06 | Cancellation, Rescheduling + Late Arrivals
ASHWHAIR reserves appointment time specifically for each client.
I acknowledge and agree to the following policies:
72-Hour Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service total.
Less Than 24 Hours / No-Shows
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or failure to attend, are subject to a fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service total.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment will result in a fee equal to 50% of the total scheduled service cost.
Late Arrivals
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation of the appointment and a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled service total.
I authorize ASHWHAIR to charge applicable fees to my payment method on file in accordance with the payment authorization provided through my booking platform and applicable law.
I understand that future appointments may require advance payment if previous cancellation or payment policies have not been honored.
I have read, understand, and agree to the cancellation and late-arrival policies.
07 | Payment + Refund Policy
I understand that payment is due at the completion of my appointment unless otherwise agreed upon.
ASHWHAIR maintains a no-refund policy for completed services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Service pricing reflects professional time, expertise, product usage, and the work performed rather than a guaranteed subjective outcome.
I understand that:
Completed services are non-refundable.
A change of preference after the service does not automatically qualify for complimentary corrective work.
Additional services or changes beyond the original consultation may require additional payment.
Concerns regarding the quality or outcome of a service should be communicated promptly so they may be evaluated individually.
This policy does not limit any rights or remedies provided by applicable law.

08 | Professional Responsibility + Risk Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that I have been given the opportunity to ask questions and disclose relevant information before my service.
I understand that some risks are inherent to professional hair and scalp services, even when appropriate products, techniques, and precautions are used.
I voluntarily accept the ordinary, disclosed risks associated with the services I choose to receive.
I understand that ASHWHAIR cannot guarantee a particular cosmetic outcome and is not responsible for problems caused solely by inaccurate or withheld information, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or circumstances outside its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this agreement releases ASHWHAIR from responsibility for negligence, misconduct, or other liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
I understand and acknowledge these terms.
09 | Photography + Video Consent
ASHWHAIR may photograph or record portions of an appointment for portfolio development, professional education, social media, website content, or promotional materials.

I consent to photographs and videos of my hair, including my face, being captured and published.
I consent to photographs and videos of my hair only, without my identifiable face, being captured and published.
I consent to photographs for private client records only, not for public use.
I do not consent to photography or video recording.
If I authorize public use, I grant ASHWHAIR permission to use the approved photographs or recordings on its website, social media, portfolio, educational materials, and promotional content without additional compensation.
I understand that I may withdraw permission for future use by contacting ASHWHAIR. Withdrawal will not necessarily remove materials already distributed or published, although reasonable removal requests will be considered.
I understand that declining photography or video consent will not affect my ability to receive services.
10 | Final Acknowledgment
By signing below, I confirm that:
I have read and understand this agreement.
I have provided accurate information to the best of my knowledge.
I understand the risks associated with the services I receive.
I acknowledge the cancellation, late-arrival, payment, and refund policies.
I have independently selected my photography and video preferences.
I have had the opportunity to ask questions before signing.
I understand that this agreement applies to my future appointments with ASHWHAIR unless replaced by an updated agreement, and that service-specific consent or updated information may be required when appropriate.
