Central Baptist Church Book Stipend Award

To be completed by Central Disciples who are continuing their college education. The Central Baptist Church Scholarship and Financial Aid Fund was established to provide financial assistance to any active Central disciple who is pursuing or continuing to pursue an undergraduate or trade/vocational education. Preference is given to Central Baptist Church disciples who are previous scholarship/financial aid recipients. Financial aid awards are recommended by the Financial Aid and Continuing Education (FACE) Ministry, and are based on the availability of funds. The application must be submitted by May 17, 2026.Questions may be submitted to face@cbcstl.org 

CRITERIA:

• Must have been out of high school at least one year
• Must have completed at least one year of discipleship at Central Baptist Church or at another church
• Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Must be pursuing first undergraduate degree
• Must upload a copy of transcript with current grades before application deadline
• A final official transcript must be mailed to the Central Baptist Church Office at 2845 Washington Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63103; Attention: Dr. Emem Ituen. The envelope must be postmarked by May 18, 2025.

 

 

 

Statement of Financial Need

Please type a one page statement of financial need. The statement of financial need must address:

1. Provide a brief update on your educational progress (e.g.-major, program of study, year in school, etc.)

2. What is your current religious affiliation or participation?

3. Please explain any special financial needs you may have.
