As a culminating activity, during Weeks 7 and 8, students meet with mentors one-on-one to respond to post-program questions/topics and prepare their presentations for their upcoming graduation. The ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of our youngest heroes will be held in the school auditorium. Invitations to attend the graduation ceremony will be emailed to families and school staff two weeks prior to graduation. These may be forwarded to additional family members and friends to invite them to join us in celebrating your amazing child.
PARENTS play an important role in this special ceremony as well.
"Secret" details will be shared in an email as we move closer to graduation.
If this sounds like a program that would benefit your child, and you can commit to your child attending twice weekly for the duration of the program, please complete the application below. 100% attendance at all sessions is expected, so student participants should not have other extracurricular activities scheduled on the dates when Operation Hero meets.
