What is a Sponsorship?

A Sponsorship is different than our Community Grants and it's important to know which to apply for! Grants are for specific functions or needs. Organizations must have their own, official bank account to be considered. These organizations can be Soldier Family Readiness Groups, school groups, athletic teams, church groups, educational clubs, units and community organizations throughout the Tower Barracks and Rose Barracks communities. Grant cycles are twice a year in the Fall and in the Spring.

A Sponsorship is for an event/function that is open to the entire community where BCSC provides funds in exchange for promotional opportunities, visibility and marketing benefits to BCSC including verbiage on flyers, radio announcements, banners, etc. Sponsorships are voted on by the entire BCSC Board at the monthly board meetings held at the beginning of each month. Sponsorships are often chosen based on the audience that the event or activity attracts as well as the event aligning with BCSC's mission.
