  • ASL at Home

    ASL at Home is ideal for parents of babies/toddlers, and those just starting to learn ASL. This class follows a routine-based curriculum that is centered around common activities in a young child’s daily life. This 8-week class is offered over Zoom.

    This class is free for parents, caregivers, and childcare providers currently working with children receiving services from BCFHRC. For community members and other professionals, this class is offered for a fee of $75.

    Details: Every Wednesday, 1:00 - 2:00 pm, April 29 – June 17, 2026.

  • Beginner ASL

    Beginner ASL is ideal for parents and caregivers who would like to learn basic ASL vocabulary and grammar. This class will focus on the alphabet, fingerspelling, introducing your family, and discussing likes and dislikes. This 8-week class is offered over Zoom.

    This class is free for parents, caregivers, and childcare providers currently working with children receiving services from BCFHRC. For community members and other professionals, this class is offered for a fee of $75.

    Details: Every Thursday, 1:00 - 2:00 pm, April 30 – June 18, 2026.

  • Intermediate ASL

    This class is for parents and caregivers who have completed Beginner ASL, or have some experience using basic ASL grammar and structure. This 8-week class is offered over Zoom.

    This class is free for parents, caregivers, and childcare providers currently working with children receiving services from BCFHRC. For community members and other professionals, this class is offered for a fee of $75.

    Details: Every Thursday, 10:00 - 11:00 am, April 30 – June 18, 2026.

  • Conversational ASL

    This class is for parents with some foundational ASL knowledge, who would like to improve their conversational ASL with a Deaf adult. This 8-week class is offered over Zoom.

    This class is free for parents, caregivers, and childcare providers currently working with children receiving services from BCFHRC. For community members and other professionals, this class is offered for a fee of $75.
