  • Welcome

I’d like to start by honoring you for taking the step to come and see me and as part

of that I would like to make sure this is a safe space for both of us. In this

therapy you and I will work together to co-create a space which brings a higher

level of awareness to any issues that you raise here. It’s from that place of

awareness that you can direct your own progress or growth. That’s where the real

juice, the real value of this therapy lies. I hope that this is something you feel you

can really invest in. Currently I am available for therapy sessions in person in the

Northern Rivers NSW and online via Zoom video call. I work Wednesday to Friday

and my availability can vary depending on client need and other work commitments.

How often we meet will depend on your needs, the type of therapy we do together

    and what your goals are.

  • Credentials

I am a Registered Clinical psychotherapist with an Advanced Clinical Training in

Contemporary Gestalt Therapy, a Certificate in Psychedelic- Assisted

Psychotherapy and I am a current member of PACFA. I am also a Registered Nurse

in Critical Care and have a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, registered with AHPRA.

I am an experienced facilitator and co-facilitator for various self-development and

    meditation workshops and retreats.

  • Benefits and Risks

Fully engaging in this psychotherapy offers you a chance to understand the greater

picture of your life and increase your sense of connection to your authentic self

and in relationship with others through self-awareness and acceptance. When

looking at deeply meaningful and emotional issues and working with healing trauma

there can be some risks. My therapy is designed to help you resource and work

with manageable amounts of discomfort. We will work together to find a supportive

and nurturing way to help you through the challenges you may experience and give

you the resources you need to help you on your journey.

  • Confidentiality

Everything you share with me will remain confidential. However, there are a few

reasons, by law, that I am required to break confidentiality. The first would occur

if you were of danger to yourself and had an active plan to harm yourself. In this

case I may need to call the local Mental Health Crisis Team. Confidentiality will

also be broken if you were planning to seriously harm another person. I would be

required by law to contact the police. If I learn of a child or an elder being abused,

then I will contact protective services immediately. If I learn of a child abuser

from a person’s past who is actively still around children I am mandated to report

them. My clinical notes and myself can be subpoenaed by a court of law to be

    presented as evidence.

I may speak of our sessions with my professional supervisor to ensure you get the

most professional, considered and skilled service from me and this is done with no

    identifying information.

With the wonders of technology it’s possible to meet online as well as in person.

Note that I use a private, secure, AI tool to take brief, professional notes of all

sessions so that I can remain fully present with you during our time. Please know

that while I use entirely private and encrypted platforms, online communications

can never be fully guaranteed as secure. By signing this document you acknowledge

that you are entering into sessions with this awareness.

  • Phone Calls and Emergency Contacts

Calls will generally be returned within 48 hours during regular working hours

Monday-Friday unless I am away. I will usually communicate with you if I’m going to

be unavailable. Please note that I provide a non-emergency service. If you have an

immediate emergency or need an urgent response please call your local emergency

    hotline or 000.

For some clients one check in message and response can be helpful or necessary at

certain times. Please keep these messages to one message cycle and let me know if

you want a call back or if we can wait to discuss the issue at our next session. I

will not accept texts nor emails as regular forms of communication, other than for

scheduling. These limits are important so that I can be fully available to you

professionally and can have thoughtful, resonant, and meaningful interactions with

    you.

  • Fees

Sessions begin at the time of the scheduled appointment. For individuals, sessions

run 50-55 minutes and are $120. For relationship/couples therapy, sessions run for

90 minutes and are $240. Payment is required on completion of each session. If

money is a limiting factor to your receiving therapy you may be eligible for a sliding

scale service. Please contact me to discuss options.

  • Cancellations

If you decide that you need to cancel a session please call or text me 48 hours

before the scheduled session. If you do not cancel, I will expect you to pay for the

missed session in full. These policies apply to me also. I will call you with at least

48 hours notice if I need to reschedule. If for any reason I miss our scheduled

appointment without notifying you, I will provide your next session free of charge.

True emergency situations that cannot be foreseen can be negotiated (sudden

illnesses, accidents, or unpredicted loss of childcare).

  • Confirmation

I feel it is a great privilege for me to be working with you. It takes strength and

courage to do self-discovery work and I will do my best to support you in finding

greater awareness and more aliveness in yourself, your relationships and your life.

Please sign here to verify you have read and understood all of the above

    information.
